So, another year down the line and my Ancestry DNA has been updated and now look like this -
Summing up, my Scottish ethnicity is now 82% (from 21% initially, then 43% and 67%).
My English side has risen slightly to 16% (was 15% last time, and 60% and 54% previously).
The Irish ethnicity is now a very small percentage - 2% - down from 18% two years ago. This I would have thought is more likely to be correct as I haven't any Irish connections in my ancestry, to date.
This update has taken account of more samples being added to Ancestry's reference panel, which expands the number and diversity of populations which my DNA can be compared to.
